Bible Study
Bible study is held onMonday evenings at 7:30 pm in the Parish Office and Tuesday mornings at 9:30AM in Hayes Hall.
Christian Care Committee The Christian Care Committee is a ministry where the members visit the homebound on a weekly basis and bring the Eucharist to those who cannot get to mass due to age or illness.

Guard of Honor (Ushers)
The Guard of Honor is present at all church and school functions held in the church, including Mass, First Holy Communion, Confirmation and graduation. The Guard is comprised of men and women whose duties include, but are not limited to, greeting parishioners and their guests, handing out relevant materials and gathering the collection. Health Ministry
Our Health Ministry offers free blood pressure screenings for parishioners after each Mass on the first full weekend of the month. If you are a nurse or healthcare provider who would like to help, please contact Carol McGotty at 973-627-8765.
Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Lakes Counctil #3359 The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic, family, fraternal, charitable, service organization. This theme permeates the entire order: all Church, community, council, family, culture of life, and youth activities. The Knights was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works. Our Lady of the Lakes Council #3359 serves St. Cecilia and Sacred Heart parishes.

Men's Society
The Men's Society of St. Cecilia's was created to support the church spiritually, socially and in service. We meet in Hayes Hall the second Saturday of every month, immediately following the 8 AM Mass and Novena. Membership is open to all the men of the parish, 18 years of age or older.
The Men's Society has several areas of focus: The Spiritual Committee which plans events that enrich the spiritual life of our member and the Parish as a whole. These events include retreats and dramatic presentations of the gospel. The Service Committee that works on projects to beautify the church properties and set-up for church activities. The Social Committee which sponsors events that help bring the parish community together. Past events include an annual fish & chips dinner, the Parish Picnic, and a Christmas get together.
The Men's Society officers are: Jack Zayac, President, Jim Gallagher, Vice President, Marty Mackin, Treasurer, Steve Drabik, Secretary.

Charismatic Prayer Group
The Light of Christ Prayer Group meets in Hayes Hall each Tuesday evening at 7:45PM for prayer, scripture reading, teachings and fellowship. You are invited to bring a friend or two, along with your bible. For more information, please contact Roberta @ 973-625-0806.
Pre-Cana The Diocese of Paterson, in order for couples to meet their PreCana requirements, they are required to take two courses either at the local or diocesan level: a life skills course that focuses on communication, conflict resolution, family of origin, finances, etc., as well as a theology course called God’s Plan for a Joy-Filled Marriage that focuses on the sacrament of marriage, validity of marriage , natural family planning, sexual morality, etc. You can register for these courses at www.insidethewalls.org.
Pro-Life Ministry We defend and support human life, a beautiful and precious gift from God, at every stage of its existence. In our prayers and practical actions, we seek to fully protect the most vulnerable, including the unborn, the elderly and infirm. Our Pro-Life Ministry collaborates with Priests for Life, as we obediently follow the teachings of the Catholic Church and the instructions of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Rosary Society The Rosary Society is the oldest organization in our parish, founded in 1882 to foster devotion to Our Blessed Mother through recitation of the rosary. We gather the first Saturday of every month at 7:30AM to pray the rosary before the 8AM Mass, followed by a meeting in Hayes Hall. We sponsor numerous activities throughout the year, including religious awards for graduating 8th grade students, a day of recollection during Lent and pancake breakfasts. Some of our members choose to serve by helping clean the church as well as the purificators used during Mass. St. Monica's Guild The St. Monica’s Guild is a women’s organization whose members promote hospitality, spirituality and prayer. In addition to hosting receptions for Holy Saturday, Confirmation candidates and to recognize parish volunteers, we also sponsor the renewal of marriage vows and the annual Advent Retreat. Social Justice Ministry The Social Justice Ministry works to educate our fellow parishioners on the Church's teaching on social justice issues, to promote awareness about the needs of the poor, oppressed, homeless, broken, and marginalized among us and to willingly and lovingly respond to the call of the Gospel. We participate in Justfaith which is a nationwide instructional program which further defines the social justice parish ministry. JustFaith is a faith formation process that emphasizes the Gospel message of love, peace, and justice, Catholic social teaching and the blending of spirituality and action. JustFaith Ministries encourages people of faith to develop a passion for justice and to express this passion in concrete acts of social ministry, such as Operation Helping Hands, Habitat for Humanity, clothing drives, blood drives, Fair Trade Sales, and legislative advocacy. Soup Kitchen The Soup Kitchen volunteers, coordinated by Patti Fitzgerald, cook and serve meals to the needy. Food is prepared the Wednesday before the third Thursday of every month and transported to the Trinity Lutheran Church on Blackwell Street in Dover the following morning where it is reheated and served.
