Thank you to everyone who supports our Gift Card and Scrip programs. This past school year, with your help, we raised $30,000 for Divine Mercy Academy through our gift card sales! Cards will still be available for purchase over the summer from the school office during business hours, from the St. Cecilia Parish Office, Sacred Heart Rectory and after weekend Masses when volunteers are available. Purchases over the summer will be credited toward our 2018/219 fundraising efforts. As always, thank you for your support of Divine Mercy Academy!
St. Cecilia & Sacred Heart Parishes Summer Bible Camp had a successful week with over 40 children learning about Jesus with the help of many teens and adults. Thank you to all!
5TH SUNDAY ROSARY – You are invited to Sacred Heart of Jesus Church next Sunday, July 29th, for the 5th Sunday of the Month Rosary which will begin at 3 o’clock. 7 O’CLOCK SATURDAY VIGIL MASS – The Saturday evening Vigil Mass at 7 o’clock will be without musical accompaniment. The Mass will be similar to the celebration of the weekday Mass with the following: 1.) the priest will begin the Mass coming from the sacristy rather than a procession down the center aisle; 2.) the faithful are asked to recite the ENTRANCE ANTIPHON which is found in the missal beginning on page 3 as the priest makes his way to the presider’s chair, 3.) the faithful are asked to recite the COMMUNION VERSE which is found in the missal beginning on page 106 as the priest is receiving Holy Communion by drinking the Precious Blood from the chalice.
