Pet Blessing: Animal blessing of pets in honor of St. Francis of Assisi will take place on Saturday, October 7th, at 12:00 noon at St. Cecilia Church parking lot!

Parish Coat Drive: The St. Martin of Tours Coat Drive will be held the weekend of October 14-15. Gently used or new Ladies’, Men’s and children coats and gloves can be dropped off in Hayes Hall that weekend. The coats will be collected by the Men’s Society and taken to Market Street Mission in Morristown and other needed agencies. Thank you for you generosity!

Save the Date! The Rockaway Catholic Right to Life Ministry will be hosting a Pro-Life Community Evening on Friday, October 13th in Hayes Hall from 7:00PM to 9:00PM. Guest speakers are Christine Flaherty, Executive Director of LIFENET, which promotes Respect for Life and the virtue of chastity; and Christopher Bell, Co-Founder of Good Council Homes, dedicated to the care of single mothers. Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.

His Excellency, Bishop Arthur Serratelli will be the main celebrant of the 4:30 p.m. Mass on Saturday, December 2nd. We welcome our Bishop and look forward to his visit to Saint Cecilia’s.

A dinner dance to support seminarian education in our diocese will take place on Sunday, November 12th at the Brownstone in Paterson. The event begins at 5:30 and the ticket cost is $70. A cash bar will be available and wine as well as beer will be served at each table. Music will be provided by a DJ. All profits will benefit the formation of our seminarians.
