ADVENT EVENING WITH SAINT PADRE PIO - Father Pio Mandato will come to Saint Cecilia Church with a first class relic (stigmata glove) of Saint Padre Pio on Thursday, December 14th.  The evening begins with meditation time and the sacrament of penance at 6:00.  At 7:00 a service will take place with Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament, prayer and veneration of the relic.  Prepare for the feast of Our Lord's Nativity by praying with the spirituality of Saint Padre Pio, the wonderworker of Pietrelcina.

FISH & CHIPS DINNER  The Men's Society will hold its annual Fish & Chip Dinner on Saturday December 9th in Hayes Hall from 5 to 7 PM. Prices are $16-Adult; $15-Senior and $8-Children (fish or chicken) and includes desert and soda - Eat- In or Take Out.  Tickets will be sold after masses each weekend or call Jim Gallagher (973-366-9699) / Jack Zayac (973-625-4572) / Jeff Zuber (973-983-1272).

Advent Giving Tree St. Cecilia’s is happy to once again participate in the Advent Giving Tree partnering with Catholic Charities to help those in need! The tree will be in the church starting the First Sunday in Advent, December 2nd & 3rd. When you take a tag from the tree, please return the gift to the church no later than Sunday, December 10th. For your convenience, you can also drop off your gift at the parish office during the week. Please do not leave gifts during the week at the church. No need to wrap the gifts but we would appreciate if they are placed in gift bags with the tag attached. If you are giving a gift card, please consider buying them from our volunteers after Mass, in the school office or parish office. Thank you for your generosity!

Birthright Bassinet—Advent 2017 The Birthright Bassinet will be on Mary’s Altar during Advent until Christmas. Please help God’s needy children as we prepare for our celebration of the Birth of Christ. Items in need: Shampoo, lotion, baby wash, and desitin (diaper rash cream) Wipes Towels and washcloths Crib sheets Bibs diapers size 5 Boys & girls socks Winter hats & mittens Onesies girls & boys sizes 9 - 24 months PJs or sleepers boys & girls sizes 9 - 24 months Snowsuits or buntings for newborns Any clothes up to size 2T THANK YOU!
